*Sigh* - your words to Scotty are soooo good and true. My own father died when I was 3 - and I don't remember him. My stepfather has been my "daddy" whom I love - but I can't help thinking about my birth "daddy" sometimes. God came into my life at a young age and brought me to faith in His son, Jesus, at age 19 - and I have been secure in God's love ever since. ( I was secure before then - I just didn't know it ) So, Scotty - I hope you take SpookiBrat's words to heart cause they are the truth.

That's a GREAT picture. LOL Thanks for posting it. You are right about what you said. I really think I would be in a looney bin without him. He has healed my broken heart so many times and given me so many reasons to get out of bed each day, just by his love and grace alone. Then of course, he gave me two little humans to love and they have been healing also. My husband is good to me too. I shouldn't ask for anything more in life. But every so often, that feeling of wanting a dad creeps in, especially around Fathers Day. I cannot stand to look at Fathers Day cards. They kill me.

Nevertheless...God is faithful and oh so good. He is my daddy. I don't need anything else in life. I will be thankful for what I have.
