There is pretty good evidence that Laura Ayala who was kidnapped from Houston in March was also spirited off to Mexico. I shudder to think what has happened to that poor girl and Vicente Fox and his minions don't seem to have lifted a finger to help anyone in this case.

Thanks trussell, but I'd like to have more information regarding this case. We are talking about the little girl's mother who seems fairly young and pretty. Someone like her risking everything even her life in jail to get her daughter strikes as more than just a "abduction" case. Like I said, I need more info. Thanks for the ping.

Well, I suppose one reason might be that non-custodial parents who sneak off with their children don't very often kill them.

Did you notice the article said she was the non custodial parent.

Even the young and pretty have been known to disobey the law, and risk very long prison terms.

The right thing to do would be to get the child back where she belongs, and then let the courts work out the rest.

I hate that they clog the system with family abductions when there are real abductions such as the Runnion case. There is a reason, beyond perversion and lust, that mothers and fathers kidnap THEIR own kids. It's called paternal instinct.

I agree, but there is also the case of jealous and vindictive husbands who would go through court proceedings to get what they want. That's why more information is necessary.
