The parole board should serve time with the convict.

Absolutely! And if this ever happened, and some of these parole officers spent time in jail, the next recommendation from them would be to do away with parole boards.

As to for this guy who killed little Samantha, he WILL be dead the moment he sets a foot in any prison, period. Mark my word, the courts will have an easy job on this...HE is a dead man one way or another and that is a promise. It is a just a matter af time 'til that happens'

I have to disagree, he will not be killed in prison, until he faces the executioner. The California Dept. of Corrections is extreemly aware of Mr. Avila's potential to be assulted, even killed. He unfortunately will receive the highest safe - guards that tax money can buy.

"Here is something for you to ponder, in all your 21 years of working with inmates, and "guards", did you ever think you would yell "inmate, I'm a Prosecutor, help me!"? Or did you just waltz into the prison knowing that those you depise so much would do anything possible to get you out alive, even die to save your life?"

Frankly, I had more trust in most prisoners than most guards.

Fraud! You have never been a Prosecutor, and have never seen the inside a prison.

A quick test that every prosecutor that has ever stepped inside a prison will know the answers to.

1.) Weapon used mainly by the Aryan Brotherhood.

A. Slayer

B. Bone Crusher

C. Dragon Killer

D. Knight Rider

2.) In a multiple manned cell the inmate refers to his other cellmates as?

A.)Dogs

B.)Homies

C.)Cellies

D.)Roomies.

What is the difference between an inmate loving prosecutor, and a refrigerator.

A.) Doh-nuts.

B.)GED.

C.)GPA.

D.)Farts when the meat is taken out.

And your answers are;

Your silly post speaks for it's self.

No, I am sorry you are wrong. In failing this simple test you have proven to me that you are a fraud, at best.

When I said correctional officers were "the smartest, intuitive of all law enforcement" I wrote it as bait, guess who bit?

(Have you ever known any co's? As a lot, they are the stupidest, most cruel, and slimy part of a prison. They are a lower lifeform than the prisoners! Ever work in a prison? I have.)

You did, and in Grand fashion.

Some of your replys go beyond the pale, even for the most strident anti-law enforcement critics.

Even lower than Richard Allen Davis the murderer of Pualie Klass, that's pretty low. I didn't know.

What you are saying is that you would prefer Alejandro Avila baby sit your daughter then have her watched by a correctional officer.

...I worked with both prisoners and guards. I was afraid of the guards! Moreover, not that it matters, I was a Federal Prosecutor for 21 years.

But what if your life was in danger, I asked, would you call for an inmate or a gaurd?

Frankly, I had more trust in most prisoners than most guards.

It was a simple test, laced with obvious humor, yet you could not or would not answer it. Instead you wrote in the public forum that I was silly, but in freep mail, you continued your assult. I think you said "low brow, knuckle draggin'..."

Yep, you have that right. I am a low brow knuckle draggin' neanderthal when it comes to cops verses inmates. Because I know what inmates have done in the past. What they are capable of at any time. Read "Animal Farm" about the New Mexico riot.

You have aligned yourself with a child rapist, murderer,(Richard Allen Davis) and another that is awaiting trial for the same(Alejandro Avila). Keep talking, I'm sure you're influencing people and gaining friends by the minute.

I know I want to know more.

It is folly to argue with someone whose opinions you do not respect.

I deleted your mail. I did not read it. You have some sort of personal vendetta. Don't write me again or I'll report you the admin moderator.

I work for my state's division of parole and there is nothing more frustrating than the Parole Board.

In my state members of the Parole Board are appointed by the governor as a result of croniness, or more often, campaign contributions. They are usually well-off "gated community" types who are disconnected from average people and the everyday risks we face from the people they let out of prison.

My supervisor is an old parole officer who is nearing retirement and from the stories he tells me, there are plenty of criminals who get some good old street justice before they ever make it to the county lockup. Especially the ones who hurt kids. Unfortunatly, accidents happen and when a criminal takes a swing at a parole officer or tries to stab him they sometimes get badly hurt in the ensuing scuffle.

Maybe state Parole Boards should be made up of retired parole officers instead of political appointees. There are some, not alot but some, roundabout ways of denying the most dangerous scumbags parole and it can be dragged out for years. The old guys know how to do it.

I believe this form of justice is necessary sometimes because of the total failure of the court system as a whole to punish criminals. I am grateful to the people who execute this form of justice. It helps keep the barbarians and pagans in check.

whatever dummy! I know plenty of cops and COs. I even had a girlfriend who lived in Corcoran who knew some of those bulls.

If you don't know the significance of Corcoran continue your ranting elsewhere.

Too bad I can't be on a jury to determine those inmates' innocence. They wouldn't get convicted, that's for sure.
