I felt Linda was leaning heaving towards him being a perjurer. Using his daughter as a pawn to get himself attention so he can use it later to get custody. Don't forget ,,,Newdow had a lot to say about custody issues.

I happened to see it. It was great.
What a pitiful excuse for a nasty, ugly human being.
Too bad he can't get elected to office ... because he's an atheist. Yeah, right.

The media is giving this guy exactly what he wants-a no fee national platform to speak from and tinker with his "hobby" called Constitutional Law. The media plug needs to be pulled on this punk so we can all forget him and work on the real problem, which is getting Republican control of the Senate back so GW can appoint Federal Judges willing and capable to combat this kind of mindless crap.

There's something I don't understand about this case. If the guy doesn't have custody and the child is a practising Christian who has no problem with the Pledge, how does the father have standing to pursue the case? If the premise is the child is being harmed and the reality is she isn't, how did the case ever get off the ground?
Can some Freeper lawyer please explain?
And Linda was great. I kept hearing how smart this guy is (doctor, lawyer) but he seemed liked an idiot.

It is true that Linda V. is a pro--educated, mature, a patriot.
But her most salient characteristic is that she is SHweeeeet!

I receivd this via email today. Thought it was pretty cool:
"I'm not sure what anyone thinks of Dennis Miller but at times he can be right on the nose with his assessments of life in the USA. I heard him the other night saying his piece on the fairy in a nightgowns decision to ban the Pledge of Allegiance in schools and it struck me as quite possibly the most insightful rant on the subject that I have heard.
He states that in his opinion, by rendering that verdict the judges who took their oaths of office by swearing on a Bible had in effect voided their employment contract and were therefore out of a job.
Secondly he thought that since this was their attitude on the word GOD that we should no longer pay them with currency with the word GOD imprinted on it and see how long it took to get a second opinion.
Third and I think perhaps the most insightful of all was his opinion that these justices should spend less time concentrating on the separation of church and state and more time on the separation of their heads and their asses."
God Bless America (Please)

Linda Vester is cool. She is forthright and doesn't take BS. She also has those "sad eyes" that give her a serious, authoritative look (ditto Brit Hume). To top it off, she's good looking, too.

I may have to rethink my attitude about Vester...

This athiest dad would have been tarred, feathered, and then banished back in the days of the Founding Fathers.
I say we give him a trip into the past.
