Last Fall, a now-banned Freeper named Spirit-of-Truth, found some time between some of his more tinfoilish theories, to post several intriguing threads about a guy named Waly Samar.
I'm foggy on the details, but Samar was linked to the '93 WTC bombers through phone records, IIRC. I believe he was also Pakistani. He attended a college in New Jersey, majoring in bio-chem.
Waly Samar's last address was in New Jersey, less than a mile from the mailbox where one of the anthrax letters was mailed.
Does anyone recall these threads?
Is there any chance of getting these particular threads restored?

Spirit of Truth has a webpage on which he's saved lots of his old threads. Worth a search to see if the thread you want is there.

Saber, SOT was not only just banned, he came back many times and would
post links to his web site articles and get banned each time. But you probably
already knew that. Perhaps they'll restore the one article, tho..........

I did not save the Wally Samir threads but I do remember their existence. I would suggest an e-mail to Jim Robinson might get some response.

Re: "Waly Samar"
Searching around I found the curious following footnote from an OKC bombing report:
606. (*) Abdul Rahman Yassin, an Iraqi indicted for his part in the World Trade Center bombing fled to Baghdad. His brother, Musab Yasin, provided a safehouse for the later plots. While the New York office of the FBI wanted to arrest him, curiously, the Washington office objected. Another Iraqi with a Ph.D. in microbiology, currently living in New Jersey, is Walied Samarrai.
I found no other references to either Walied Samarrai or Waly Samar though.
