Prayers for her family and for all kids out there. This cop giving the press conference is pissed.

Wondering if this excrement is somehow involved in the Van Dam murder. Hard to believe this was his first crime against a child.
God Bless the Runyon family, my heart aches for you.

Don't you people think you're just overreacting a little bit to these celebrity missing child cases? These are local crimes, typically involving one deranged perp. Not exactly the stuff of national news.

Ok, you let your little kids run around unsupervised while these freaks are out there. The public needs to become aware that they can be next.
Body was found nude btw. Just totally sickening.

The police are very confident that they will catch this guy. Since the body was found so quickly...asking people to think if anyone who fits a description has missed work in the last 2 days or seen at a gas station locally..etc.

Tearful bump.
A very sad outcome.

I agree. This is a local crime & story for me, not national. This little girl lived only 30 minutes or so from my daughter.

Celeberty??? What??? She was a little girl playing out in front of her house!!!! WTF! IS WRONG WITH YOU?? Nothing's wrong with me. I'm not denying that this is a terrible crime. Of course it is. But I think its odd for the entire nation to shut down to focus on one local crime. Focus on substantive issues, not on stories that make for good five minute shocking sound-bites on otherwise slow news days.

This officer sounds like he is choking up a bit. I am thinking this crime scene had to be a horrible one.
