Audience members lobbed queries at him like "what about the bread and the fishes?" and he would hem and haw and wriggle his way through some tortuous explanation like "oh some texts don't say 'fish'..." If you ever see him again, lob this one at him:
Matthew 9:10
And it came to pass, as Jesus sat at meat in the house, behold, many publicans and sinners came and sat down with him and his disciples.
I tried that on one of those Jesus-was-a-vegan freaks, and he shut right up after stammering that Jesus must have let the publicans and sinners have all the meat. Even he knew how lame that was. :D

Bwahaha... Well a bud of mine from local running club (some fruits and nuts, but well-meaning folks) that I'm in, invited me, so I showed up with a bottle of Jack Daniels in my book bag. Fifteen minutes into the talk, I was hittin' it. Some folks would get into it with this guy, but I saw that there was no use wasting my breath so I just drank and let him blather on, pulling things out of his a$$ to further his pseudo-academic argument...

Matthew 9:10 And it came to pass, as Jesus sat at meat in the house, behold, many publicans and sinners came and sat down with him and his disciples. Likewise you cannot be a good Jew without eating meat. The scriptures are very precise on what is to be eaten during the feasts. Passover - lamb, unleavened bread, bitter herbs. If you don't eat meat you sin against God by rebelling against His commands. The passover meal is not optional.
And since Jesus never sinned, we know that he ate meat (as he was commanded to)
