" By a 385-3 vote, the House approved a computer crime bill that also expands police ability to conduct Internet or telephone eavesdropping without first obtaining a court order. "

Amendment IV
The right of the people to be secure in their persons, houses, papers, and effects, against unreasonable searches and seizures, shall not be violated, and no Warrants shall issue, but upon probable cause, supported by Oath or affirmation, and particularly describing the place to be searched, and the persons or things to be seized.

Does anyone here feel that this vote doesn't violate this Amendment?....And if in support of this vote, please explain what I am not seeing?....

If those still "living" were around to change it before it became the Law of The Land...ok then...nuff said?

when murderers and rapists get out in a few years, this makes no sense. Hacking is hardly a crime worthy of a life sentence, unless it directly leads to loss of life.

Welcome to the NWO, and the neo-cons are as much to blame as the LibDems.

Computer hacking is now a worse crime than joining the Taliban and fighting against your own country. Yup, that makes sense.

Can't wait until you're the victim of identity theft; you lose tens of thousands of $$$; and your credit is ruined. You'll probably want the perp to be given the death penalty....
