An advertisement for a "miracle" impotence cure depicting a man vying to raise the Tower of Pisa has left hard-liners in Tehran raging after it ran in the main official daily Iran over the weekend.
"The publication of this advertisement and especially the drawing are immoral acts", the arch-conservative Jomhouri-Eslami newspaper strongly complained on Sunday.
The paper asked how Iran, which is run by the official IRNA news agency, "dares to publish this depraved and immoral advertisement that is an attack on all modesty."
Saturday's ad by a health-ministry-approved drugs company claimed to offer a "miracle" treatment for impotence with a "98 percent success rate." The treatment was by a "brand new method" using a machine, it said without providing further detail.

They would really go nuts over in Iran if they had broadcast the infomercial for Extenze. This infomercial stars Ron "Hedgehog" Jeremy and Kim Chambers. Adding to the bizarreness of this infomercial is the appearance of the husband of Kim Chambers, Scott Stiles, also a porn star, who is billed as having a physics degree and being a rocket scientist prior to entering porn.

We'd hear complaints if that were published in a U.S. paper, too.

If this were representing Clinton, you'd have to take the photo from the other side, and put a "kink" in it at about the third story.

Yes, there were several kinks in that story until the truth came out.

Everybody in that Infomercial (including the owner of Extenze) is so sleazy that it is a wonder that they even get any sales. Good comedy relief from the Hedgehog however.

The paper asked how Iran, which is run by the official IRNA news agency, "dares to publish this depraved and immoral advertisement that is an attack on all modesty." Let's see now...the same fine mo-slimes who like to gang rape Australian and Dutch girls speak of modesty. Riiiight.
