My serious biking began in Manhattan Beach,CA so I know what you described yesterday,Misty. I have the (tighter) black shorts, shoes, helmet, gloves, pocketsinback shirt. My neighbor had raced with the Santa Monica Club and his teammate had a shop. I still have the 35 yr oldshorts with replaced chamois crotch. I got ticketed for not stopping and not riding in the gutter. But I have good arguments. I was never rude, however. Beep,I have a Mtn bike which is easier on the back and butt. But I love the lighter feel of my Italvega and since they repaved my road which may last 2 years I get out to hear it hum. Jen, Your bike will warm up those muscles if you start slow. I always wear a helmet to protect my other brain.Brat..Walking and swimming are two better ways to warm up and strengthen the back. Sitting weakens the abs and the back so we must work these muscles daily and together. I'll FReepmail you later. Also write Jen,Spooky.

LJ, are you being a brat???? Trying out for the Bad Boyz club? hahahahahahaha ;-)
The tires on my bike are still flat. I'll fill you in on the bike riding report after hubby puts air in them so I can fly with the wind in my hair down these Georgia hills! Woo Hoo!
Good morning!! Seen any eagles lately? I hope you have a good camera and can get some pix for us!!

I am not sure, but I use to get migraines a lot until I started exercising by lifting my arms over my head more. In fact, I started doing a lot of stuff like putting up wall paper and found that the headaches pretty much subsided after that! Sitting, which I do way too much of when I get hooked on the computer, is very hard on us, imo. Have you ever mounted a laptop on the handles of a stationary bike? I think that is where all of our keyboards should be! :))))
