I spent a fantastic day with Fallguy and Snow Bunny. They are all I imagined and more.

I picked them up at their motel and we went to a local restuarant for breakfast. Afterwards we went to my place for a while and they met my wife, youngest daughter and the dogs. Snow Bunny and spent a little time "talking" with Victoria.

Then we did a quick nickle tour of the Portland area, basically a circuit on the east side, through downtown around the west side and back. Snow Bunny learned how to start a grill and barbeque chicken and brats for dinner. Over dinner they got to meet the other two kids and my daughters boyfroend. Everyone in the family just loved them. We talked about the Canteen, politics, religion, Canteeners, Oregon, my background and family and their background and families. The time flew by way too quickly.

I have to count those 12 hours as some of the most memorable in my life. It was just great, you couldn't ask to meet two nicer people.

Snow Bunny and FallGuy, it was indeed a pleasure to meet the both of you. I was nervous as hell anticipating this meeting but you both made me feel like I was just meeting family. Thanks for a great day and for introducing Paddington to us.

Paddington slept during their visit with us...he did raise one eye lid just before they departed... :o)

I am kind of out of the loop here, haven't been to the Canteen as often as I would like, no computer at home. I didn't know that Snow Bunny and FallGuy were heading your way. Well anyway, I wish them a safe and happy adventure.
