We had such fun!! In Atlanta, the group was smaller, but because we got our tickets so early -- our seats were closerthanthis to the stage! I could rest my feet on it!! *G* I asked Brent two questions of my own, and one for a shy friend. Poor Bev took a lot of ribbing from Brent for that one!! I taped the whole thing, thank goodness. Mostly, all you can hear is a "giggle fest!" LOL! We offered the latest edition of "DataBase" to him, and he said he already had it. He did, too; he was on our mailing list!! He also picked Cath's daughter, Allie, to come up on stage with him during his "pick a child from the audience" bit! It was so cool! (Allie swore she'd never wash that arm again -- where he had his arm around her!!) Brent picked at us a lot, and we ate it up!
I miss those days! Balmer, Atlanta, Nashville three times, Memphis. . . . **sigh** One day, God willing, I WILL travel again! (And not just to see a darn doctor! I mean, I love my out-of-state docs, but enough is enough already!!)
Okay -- enough off-topic!! (I saw nothing of Balmer, I'm afraid, except the hotel and the airport!) But -- I've been where you live!! *VBG*
Love ya, Cuz!
Geek Beep!
I'll keep praying that you WILL be able to travel more. I used to go to StarTrek conventoins years ago. they were fun. I still have a picture of me with Nichelle Nickols (Uhura) from the original series.
I saw your post on last night's thread about being related th Martha Washington. Is she really an ancestress of yours? Through wich of her grandchildren do you come? Have you ever been to MT Vernon?I know I ask a lot of questions but I'm interested in all kinds of history.
