Teens charged with gang rape caught on videotape

NEWPORT BEACH, Calif. (AP) - The son of an Orange County assistant sheriff and two other teenagers have been charged with the videotaped gang rape of an unconscious 16-year-old girl.

The 17-year-olds, who were all charged as adults, face 21 felony counts that include rape, rape by a foreign object and administering a drug to incapacitate the victim.

Read some of the stories from the OC Weekly Rag linked at the bottom of this page. Rapes, drug busts, cover-ups, finger pointing... All with connections to the Sheriff's department. Sleazy bunch, for sure. I guess this is Orange County's OJ or MJ competition.

1) a minor cannot give consent to sex 2) a person under the influence cannot give consent to sex.

The more you read about the case and the individuals involved, the sleazier it gets. IIRC, A subsequent arrest for drugs (young Haidl), and a failed cover-up attempt by the Sheriff's department, resulted in at least one Senior official losing his job (Jaramillo).

They need to FLUSH the garbage out of OC Government.

It’s no surprise that the defense is determined to undermine the power of the graphic DVD. In addition to showing the illegal sexual intercourse between minors, the tape shows the defendants penetrating the unconscious girl’s anus and vagina with a Snapple bottle, lit cigarette, juice can and pool cue. One veteran detective vomited after watching it.

Like I said... the more you read, the sleazier it gets.

Spoiled privileged little brats... 'allegedly' performing disgusting criminal acts... and showing absolutely no remorse. Each can get up to 55 years in prison. If they spend the rest of their lives in jail, I will not miss them or their kind.

With the tape, this is a finished case. This kid needs to work a deal with the DA quickly for a 15-year sentence, and admit it...otherwise, its likely to be a cake-walk case for the DA.
