re:Dem supporter)))
Considering that the GOP gets its money from small donors, and the DNC gets theirs from big donors, wonder if the market meltdown could actually work in the RNC's favor? All the Dems would have left are the bottom-feeding Trial Lawyer's lobby.

I'm either looking in the wrong place or not reading the information correctly, but from what I found both Dennis Kozlowski and Tyco International are big-time Republican donors. In the 1999-2000 election cycle, Tyco's soft-money contributions to Republicans were about $280,000 and to Democrats were about $70,000. The only money Kozlowski himself has given in the past few years has been to three Republican politicians, Rudy Guiliani, John Kasich, and Charles Bass. I got this info from opensecrets.org.
