The whining of blacks is more and more falling on deaf ears. What are the special attentions they need or deserve? There are enough laws on the books to protect their rights, like the hate crime laws that don't protect whites from attacks by "minorities".

I believe it was in 1998 that Eddie Bernice Johnson was certified as an idiot.

There is a state rep that makes Johnson and Sheila Jackson-Lee look smart. Her name is Safronia Thompson and she thinks she is really important.

Attorney General John Ashcroft had deprived Americans of their rights in a wholesale fashion:

Good Lord. The "right" to drive, the "right" to free health care, the "right" never to be offended and now the "right" to fashion??????

I'm amazed at how self centered "Americans" can get.

Well, we didn't even have the right to have our votes counted the last time in Florida

Someone should inform this person that at that time, Ashcroft wasn't AG. Mr Reno was.

When that district was created because of population increase, Eddie Bernice was heavily involved in the gerry mandering process. The district was created for her.

...Mr. Bush in his virtual ignoring of the needs of minorities in this country

What will they think of next? Maybe I'm being idealistic, but why does she think the "needs" of minorities are different than the "needs" of the majority? Like it or not, lady...no matter what color/sex you are, you are an American. That's what Mr. Bush cares about.

White Media Conspiracy Backs Bush...

I'm trying to keep an open mind... but has she read any newspapers lately?

It's the white liberal media privileges black people, or any minority, if they play angry as a role. Hence the creation of J. Jackson as the "leader" and now Farrakhan to some degree in this role. It's "hot" and confirm's white liberal guilt. A black politician talking about taxes or something is ignored and never sought out. Black politics, as framed in the white liberal media, is a construction of guilt, shame, and unstated distaste from liberals by which they select compliant subjects to fill out the pre-scripted drama. She's part of the play, not apart from it. In other words, she's part of the problem, and has no solutions, I would gather.

This congressperson always serves as fodder, and unfortunately reinforces certain unfortunate stereotypes. Just why the Black caucus chose this personage as their head and spokesperson is one of those eternal mysteries. She is not unfortunately the dumbest of the lot, but clearly below the mean.

JOHNSON: You probably have not lost any because you're a white male.

I caught the interview and was actually ashamed that she sits in MY House of Representatives.

O'Reilly's response to her racist comment could have been, "You probably got elected in your district only because you're a black female."

.......and yet another drooling, brainless, spittle-spewing, racist black female "legislator" heard from.

Like her Sistuhs in Congress, she'll be consigned to the ashheap of history in due course. She should be scrubbing toilets in Houston.
