I believe Luis Gonzalez will be putting up the audio later.

What really pisses them off about Cheney is that when he was elected VP, he was forced to sell his Halliburton stock. He got out near the top, before it tanked....

It would be nice if Judicial Watch would go after real issues, instead of falling into these false issues, already disclosed and investigated issues that the democrats want to use against Republicans.

There is an unfortunate shadow in the top pic; makes Larry look like he's wearing a codpiece...a rather flat codpiece...

Look on the bright side, he could be doing real damage like taking suits against the pledge of allegiance or something. As is he has himself a nice little niche where the only folks who get hurt are the donors.
Since FR has long since spotted his scam even while he was pursuing Clinton I say we just ignore him while encouraging the libs and press to waste their time and money on him.

The dispute seems to center around this:
In the NYTimes on May 22, 2002, in an investigative report, certain allegations surfaced concerning Halliburton's accounting treatment of construction job claims and change orders which are negotiated with customers. Prior to 1998 and the merger with Dresser, the company did not record such items in revenue or accounts receivable before they were resolved with the customer.
The company disclosed in its Form 10-K for 1998 that it had recorded losses on certain engineering and construction projects related to current year claims and change orders which it did not feel would be accepted by customers.
Furthermore, in instances where unapproved claims and change orders were recognized in revenue and accounts receivable, no profits at all were recognized on the related projects.
During 1998, the Company began to record such items in revenue and accounts receivable when the company expected such items to be collectible from the customer.
The company has continued this accounting treatment of similar items since 1998 and has never recorded a profit on a job where an unapproved claim or change order has been recorded in revenue.
I'm going to try and search FR archives for this article.

After all the great things he has sued over that received no attention from the large media. Now he goes after Cheney.....suddenly Reuters, AP, NYT, LAT and CNN are all over it. Just another case of bias.

As an avid loather of all things that pertain to #42,and all that baggage of 8 ugly years,I almost contributed to L.K.'s cause many times.I am proud to say,I never caved in and donated, and now, with this,I just couldn't live w/ myself knowing I'd helped him turn on Dick Cheney's former company.Biased? You bet I am.He's doing this to prove he's an equal opportunity lawyer. All this time he's been called a Clinton Hater,he gets to prove himself by simply issuing the suit.

How is Larry doing on getting those Gore e-mails. Seems he was interested in that a while back...
He's going to get plenty of money if he goes after the "right" person and he knows it. The sad part is that he's going to get more press on this than he deserves.

I read somewhere that the cost of all the dumbass litigation in this country amounts to 646 dollars per person - man or woman or child. My Family pays an extra 3G's per year because "anyone can file a suit" - I can't wait for Christ to come back. Some days this all just seems so stupid
