12:57PM Halliburton responds to Judicial Watch lawsuit (HAL) by Michael Baron Halliburton (HAL) is off 30 cents, or 2.1 percent, to $13.82, in midday action. The company is out with a press release responding to a lawsuit filed by Judicial Watch, a Washington, D.C.-based legal watchdog group. The suit alleges fraudulent accounting practices at Halliburton took place during the period when current vice president Dick Cheney served as its chairman and CEO. Halliburton called the claims in the suit, "untrue, unsupported, and unfounded." The company continued: "We are working diligently with the SEC to resolve its questions regarding the company's accounting procedures. Halliburton has always followed and will continue to follow guidelines established by the SEC and GAAP, General Accepted Accounting Principles."

I asked you a DIRECT question. Unless you answer it with a "yes" or "no," we'll all just have to assume you agree with Larry.

You assume and believe whatever you want to anyway.

By the way, Dan Quayle was a pretty good vice president. I guess FIJC is also buying the Rat line about Quayle.
To: FreedominJesusChrist
Dan Quayle was a good vice president. Cheney is a good one as well. Cheney is NOT the "de facto " President, unless you think all those meetings with Putin were simply for show. I would like you to answer Howlin's question, please.
To: Miss Marple
I never said that I didn't like Dan Quayle or that he wasn't a good vice-president.
I liked the fact that Quayle was strongly pro-family and pro-life. And I also liked the fact that Quayle stood up to the liberal media on several occasions.
I LIKED Dan Quayle a lot, but he was a different kind of vice-president than Cheney is.

I don't think "supersillyous" is a misspelling so much as it's a sniglet--a word that's not in the dictionary, but ought to be.
I invented the word "administrivia" in the same spirit.

How is Howlin's question even relevant to the subject at hand? It isn't and therefore, I am not going to answer it.
To: Poohbah
A Henry Higgins, you are not.
To: FreedominJesusChrist
Why won't you answer? Aren't you sure, as you always are, that Larry is correct?

Drop it.
To: FreedominJesusChrist
Drop what?
To: FreedominJesusChrist
It is relevant because that is what Larry Klayman said when HE was talking about this lawsuit.
Now answer, yes or no.

No, I will not. Either you agree with him or not.
Why aren't you honest enough to say?

I invented the word "administrivia" in the same spirit. You have some sort of Mojo complex.

DO YOU OR DO YOU NOT AGREE WITH LARRY KLAYMAN THAT GEORGE W. BUSH IS AN ILLEGITIMATE PRESIDENT OF THE UNITED STATES... How did you extract that from Larry Klayman's comments?
You're imagining things again.
To: FreedominJesusChrist
The transcript from Larry's appearance was posted on this thread this morning. In it, he discusses Halliburton and Cheney (the subject of this thread) and then goes on to make his comment about Cheney being a de-facto President, indicating that is one of the reasons why this lawsuit is so darned important and why we must have it right now.
So, these are Larry's words, and we would like to know if you think that this comment was appropriate and correct. It is very pertinent to the subject at hand, and if you do not wish to answer, that is your privilege; however, you will have shown that you are a bit of a coward, either afraid to disagree with Larry or afraid to stick up for him.
To: Howlin
Howlin,
My opinion about what Larry Klayman said in a TV interview is not in anyway, relevant to this thread.
Larry Klayman never stated that Cheney was "the real" President anyway.
To: Fred Mertz
It is IN THE TRANSCRIPT, you dolt.
Once again, you are wrong.
