12:57PM Halliburton responds to Judicial Watch lawsuit (HAL) by Michael Baron Halliburton (HAL) is off 30 cents, or 2.1 percent, to $13.82, in midday action. The company is out with a press release responding to a lawsuit filed by Judicial Watch, a Washington, D.C.-based legal watchdog group. The suit alleges fraudulent accounting practices at Halliburton took place during the period when current vice president Dick Cheney served as its chairman and CEO. Halliburton called the claims in the suit, "untrue, unsupported, and unfounded." The company continued: "We are working diligently with the SEC to resolve its questions regarding the company's accounting procedures. Halliburton has always followed and will continue to follow guidelines established by the SEC and GAAP, General Accepted Accounting Principles."

Aquanet is a great bug-killer too.

I got through Pre-Calc. in high school and already took my College Algebra Gen. ed. course.
Math isn't hard for me, it's just that I don't like it.
I will honestly think about taking an accounting class like you said though. Thanks for the suggestion.

Nobody CARES what you take in college. Ditz.
To: Howlin
Howlin, do civil lawsuits can have criminal elements to them.
To: FreedominJesusChrist
Not here it isn't.
To: FreedominJesusChrist
Not Rico. You are DENSE.
To: A Citizen Reporter
Are you saying that I do not have the right to respond to Howlin's characterizations of me? I will respond to people's talk about me if I want to.
To: FreedominJesusChrist
(1) I HATE that dang 70s look.
(2) I also hate short hair on women...
(3) Those Filipino and Mexican women are looking like better and better wife-material all the time.
(4) I have seen no reasonable refutation of Klayman or JW on this insanely long thread; just a lot of wailing and gnashing of teeth about words uttered by someone who, acording to those same wailers, is essentially harmless.
(5) Having said that, does that JW online store bother you as bad as it bothers me? How is anyone supposed to take their work seriously after seeing THAT?

Did you come up with the RICO idea all on your own?
To: Howlin
Civil lawsuits
can have criminal elements to them.
If it is found that Rendell was being influenced by corrupt organized labor, RICO charges could be filed by the state. There is nothing wrong with Klayman bringing out these facts in his civil case against Rendell. Indeed, it would be quite helpful to the government.

4) I have seen no reasonable refutation of Klayman or JW on this insanely long thread; just a lot of wailing and gnashing of teeth about words uttered by someone who, acording to those same wailers, is essentially harmless. Then you have not read the thread.
To: FreedominJesusChrist
Organized labor and the Mafia probably do have something to do with each other, but that doesn't have anything to do with the fact that five thugs assaulted somebody.
Larry's line of questioning showed clearly that he was unprepared and unprofessional.
He should have been asking questions specific to the incident at hand, not about Monica and JFK. You cannot possibly be this blind. It's an act right?

I admit, I have not read all 3214 posts to this thread.

I didn't think I'd ever agree with much of anything Ed said.
He was right here though...It did boggle the mind.
To: agrandis
I personally do not like the 70's look either. I actually have a couple Filipina friends that are married to white guys. They are perfectly happy together.

HAS LARRY PAID HIS BILL YET?
