12:57PM Halliburton responds to Judicial Watch lawsuit (HAL) by Michael Baron Halliburton (HAL) is off 30 cents, or 2.1 percent, to $13.82, in midday action. The company is out with a press release responding to a lawsuit filed by Judicial Watch, a Washington, D.C.-based legal watchdog group. The suit alleges fraudulent accounting practices at Halliburton took place during the period when current vice president Dick Cheney served as its chairman and CEO. Halliburton called the claims in the suit, "untrue, unsupported, and unfounded." The company continued: "We are working diligently with the SEC to resolve its questions regarding the company's accounting procedures. Halliburton has always followed and will continue to follow guidelines established by the SEC and GAAP, General Accepted Accounting Principles."

Answer B
To: FreedominJesusChrist
Why don't you tell them about the problem next time you talk to them? They'd probably pay you more attention.
To: deport
Nope. Honestly, I help register people at my school to vote Republican, and if there were any efforts to register democrats, I would know about it.
Fact is, 99% of my school are conservative Christians, and I have never met anyone who votes democrat.
To: Miss Marple; Iwo Jima
Why thank you Miss Marple. You're a kind soul.
Iwo Jima desperately wants to be #2000, and since she just woke up from her nap, she needs to go to bed in about two hours.
To: Miss Marple
Well, I don't really have anything to contribute,
This thread doesn't need any contributions, good or bad...... it's like the bunny just keeps going and going. It would die a natural death if the little girl would let it, but the girl can't help it. Maybe 2000 and it will get into Gore's LockBox.
To: Amelia
The fact is, I never call up the organization and talk to them. I just post here on FR and that is all.
To: terilyn
I wasn't going to say anything, but... ChaseR has been banned from multiple sites because his...er... extreme enthusiasm for his chosen issues causes him to drive others to the verge of insanity.
To: Miss Marple
Your presence is always welcome, even if it's just to say hi.
To: FreedominJesusChrist; Miss Marple
So are you now registering them to vote third party. Since, as you stated, you won't be voting for President Bush in 2004?
To: Clara Lou
That's why he has his own website now.
To: terilyn
Where am I? What am I doing here? Oh, yes, now I remember.
To: FreedominJesusChrist
I'm sure you would as you seem to know everything else, or you think you do.
and I have never met anyone who votes democrat.
Have you ever met Larry Klayman? He voted for the "peanut farmer"....
To: FreedominJesusChrist
How do I know this? Just a guess, I guess.
Why would you state your self-admitted "guess" as a fact? This, along with almost everything else you do and say, detracts from your believability.

To: terilyn
No. I will give my opinion if people ask for it, but the fact is, I mainly just pass out information on the Republican Party and conservative issues. And I offer to drive people to vote or get registered to vote Republican.
To: Iwo Jima; All
Hang in there, only a few more to go.
To be fair, I think when we get to about 1997, we should all stop posting just so Iwo Jima can have 2000. She did, after all, wake up just for this.
To: deport
I have never personally met Klayman and I was telling the truth about the voting demographics of my school. I did a lot of polling and surveys during the election.
To: Clara Lou
"FYI, Larry only writes the question, he doesn't actually put the poll up on the website." "How do I know this? Just a guess, I guess."
Seemed strange to me also.
To: A Citizen Reporter; Clara Lou
Sounds like a confession to me, I guess.
To: A Citizen Reporter
Well, it would make sense that he would write his own polling questions, and it would also make sense that they have their programmers put the question up on their website, since Larry is not a computer programmer.
