"Sodom and Gomorrah Discussion Ping."

I don't think we need to go that far back for a precedent. This whole spousal swap-meet culture suggests the French court in the eighteenth century, portrayed well in les Liaisons Dangereuses. The political question is this: will the decadence of our ruling class precede a violent backlash? It certainly did in France, and later in Weimar Germany.

The upper class which is decadent( Im a libertarian and a libertine myself they ain't bad people really Im fairly well connected with them but Im not rich YET my family would be described best as Upper Middle) is not the same as our ruling media elite( which through the mob they control runs the country). The upper class by the late 60's lost nearly all political influence there was a brief resurgence of upper class political influence under Reagan. Their loss of control of the political system definitely speeded up our slide into socialism. Im not sure the rest of the country cares much about the personal habits of the Upper Class. I'd like your opinion.
