Kind of a long story but, the dog, who does not bark because it was raised around dogs who couldn't bark? (why does this sound ludicrous?) got upset the night in question and tore it's dog bed up. Possibly being a fiber source a few of us wondered what it looked like.

It was "raised" around these debarked dogs for 8 weeks....Keith and Rich both complained that Layla was a pain in the butt..jump all over you kind of dog...that the VD's kept in a cage sometimes.

The neighbor who testified to going to the VD's a day or so after the disappearance, said "Layla" just meekly walked around the house..let her pet her head, didn't jump up on her.

Unfortunately the dog bed, the vacuum cleaner bag, and a few other items (like maybe Danielle's body) were discarded before police arrived.

I got that some are wondering what the dog bed looked like, what it is made of. I wonder if the dog dissapeared also. Maybe someone in a fit of rage killed the girl and the dog.

If you go back an listen to the 911 tape you can hear 2 things VERY CLEARLY:

1. Layla the barkless-peeing-wonder dog barking
2. The alarm beeping
