You are wasting your time. The Yahoo! boards are filled with unbelievably stupid people who, quite simply, get off on flaming people and attacking things. I tried to reaon with them on some business boards but gave up. You can beat your head against the wall for only so long.

While I am well aware that it no longer holds the advantage it once did, the need for dictatorial control is still around. But one form, socialism, can and has been rolled back from parts of the world where it once held full control. In its place a kind of militant religiosity has taken up the vacuum created by the demise of the authoritarian socialist regimes, merely substituting one totalitarian regime for another. Some folks seem to be genetically unfitted for the exercise of free will, it would seem, and they gravitate to any system that allows them to forsake such troublesome things as personal decisions about daily behavior, and economics, and social relationships.
