There are still questions about the possible involvement of other people in these killings, in particular whether there was a Satanist cult involved more than indirectly. It's another of those cases where they seem to have nailed just one of the guilty parties and assiduously avoided following up any leads to his accomplices.

The compulsions to kill may have fled but the occult stuff is just an excuse for being a sicko sociopath. Once your that evil you cannot be good.

Exactly he thought if he acted remorseful he'd get out.

"Once your that evil you cannot be good."Certainly the odds go down; but I've known some remarkable cases, and don't think anyone is beyond hope.

I do believe Berkowitz that he is a changed man, but he still must pay for what he did.Like Charlie Manson, he should've paid the price decades ago.
Why the taxpayers should have to fund these absurd parole hearings for convicted mass murderers is beyond me.
The only reminder we should have of Berkowitz is a reference in the criminal history books.

Yes, I totally agree. Berkowitz should have paid for his sins with his life. As for Manson and his minions, pah. One of his "disciples" Susan Atkins who comes up for parole periodically. She stabbed one of the LaBiancas to death, by stabbing them 19 to 20 times. I'm sorry, but she hasn't paid yet for what she did. Life in prison means life in prison. She can be rehabilitated all she wants, but she can stay behind bars. Same with Charles Manson. Grrr, this is a hot button of mine.
