Notice how the delegates "votes" have to be ratified by the NAACP's board of directors - could the NAACP be disenfranchising its own delegates votes?

Funny thing...a vote to create a more truly colorblind society where merit is what counts most...and THESE are the guys to oppose it. Of course....

"As long as race counts, we have to count race," Bond said. "What Ward Connerly will do -- unless the voters of California stop him -- is to institute the denial of different outcomes dictated by race. We have to work to defeat this. This is reminiscent of 1930's Germany. Seriously. When else in history was there a group so riled up about race? Thats not hyperbole. The first time racial questions appeared for job applications, census figures, loans, etc., were in 1930's Germany.

I think that back in the 1960s Civil Rights movements were on the right track. They were helping minorities then. Now they are dividing them from the mainstream of society, or at least trying to. But if there were no more racial strife, Jackson and his ilk would be out of a job! He wouldn't be needed. That is why Jackson, Sharpton, and NAACP keeps dividing and destroying, instead of helping the cause.

Hmmmm. NAACP opposes CA initiative to bar racial classifying.........
Okay class, now who can tell us who said the following:
"I have a dream that my four children will one day live in a nation where they will not be judged by the color of their skin but by the content of their character." Anyone? Anyone? Mr. Mfume in the back corner of the room. Do you know?
Maybe it is a scene froma comic book: "In the Bizarro world, Superman noticed that the Bizarro NAACP was the institution fighting for segregation and racial classification!"
Or a fictional television show: (insert Rod Serling voice here) "Submitted for your approval. A suppossedly black institution fighting for racial segregation. You have entered the Twilight Zone!"
When will the cows stop being led to the slaughter by other cows?

"NAACP opposes California initiative to bar racial classifying"
This is news?
A true newsorgan would treat this as the news equivalent of "the sun rose in the east today."
Just add this gem to the mountain of evidence already proving the AP to be just another Leftist morale boosting organ. The Left is beyond help. The Left is so far off the reservation that the Right has been infiltrated by desperate leftists seeking power. There they are known as RINOs.

"Ward Connerly, affirmative action's poster child, is at it again," Bond said. "You remember he was the fraud behind California's anti-affirmative action initiative, Proposition 209," Bond said. "Now con-man Connerly is behind the deceptively titled 'racial privacy initiative'," which would "eviscerate civil rights enforcement. Connerly is spoken of by the left with the same venom that is generally reserved for Clarence Thomas. Notice that the ad hominums from the NAACP and it's leadership continue. Yet they demand that we on the right sit with them.
Please spare me...
