July 8, 2002 -- READING, Pa.- Federal agents whisked away an Afghan man wanted since 1997 after local cops arrested him near a nuclear plant, authorities said yesterday.
Mohomad Omar Popal, was stopped Saturday near the Limerick nuclear-power plant while driving toward Philadelphia, about 50 miles away.

It's unclear whether Popal was wanted by authorities for any reason other than an immigration violation. Of course not!
He didn't have written instructions in his possesion personally signed by Osama baby...

Interesting note: CNN, Washington Post, etc., etc. did not find this story worth mentioning.
One can only assume they'll save it for "evidence of Post-911 Profiling ".

Popal's truck, which appeared to be loaded with several cases of soda, was searched, and electrical wiring was found along with several car batteries and adhesive solvents. Also, per Fox News: men's wigs, video equipment and $3600 in cash.
