Even as you read these words, a time bomb is ticking away in the holy city of Makkah. The question is not "if" it will explode but "when".
The bomb I am speaking of, for those who want to know, is the large number of Africans in the city; they are there illegally and as they encroach on the city and its facilities, they have become a public menace. They show no respect for the law whatsoever. They make it plain that all they care about is making money and by whatever means is available to them. They multiply like rabbits and every one of their children becomes no more than another tool for making money. They trade in everything, buying and selling; they work in gangs with each gang having its own area where outsiders are not allowed. They are seen on every street and at every traffic light. Like weeds in the soil of rich farmland, they threaten to engulf everything and take over.
These people are a time bomb in every sense of the word. Doing nothing about the problem means it gets worse every day and its potential for serious lasting damage increases.
Defusing the bomb as quickly as possible must be a top priority. This can be done by going to the source of the problem, no matter how expensive or troublesome that may be. Either these people are forced to leave or they become legal residents. We cannot continue to ignore the problem because this will only compound it.
In addition, ignoring the problem only perpetuates the frustration and suffering of Makkahs residents who have reached the end of their endurance with the law-breaking children of these overstayers. Defuse the time bomb before it is too late and clear the field of harmful weeds before the entire useful crop is ruined.

Ping. Saudi immigration policy re Africans! . Maybe suitable for your ping list.

No doubt! This article could be used to describe any inner city right here in the good ole USA.

I have a great idea. Everyone pick up all your junk and go back to the country you are currently a citizen of. (I was going to say "country you were born in," but....)

So you guys agree with this guy's solutions.
Deport immigrants. Or make the illegal ones legal, aka amnesty.
Or do you think we should ship Africans back to Africa?
To: swarthyguy
If you replace Makkah with Southwestern U.S. and African with Mexican, I know a situation it resembles.

What struck me about this is the sheer hypocrisy of the saudis. Wanting entrnce to the US on VisaExpress and complaining about 'restrictions' on the Saudis coming here.
They want better treatment for themselves than they hand out to the immigrants or guest workers in their own societies.
The other point is the alleged non racism of arabs, and that erroneous viewpoint as enunciated by Farrakhan, for example.
Some extremely blatant racist statements in this drivel.

I presume the holy city of Makkah = Mecca? If so, only Muslims are supposed to be allowed in the town.
All those referenced are making their hajj?

Good point. That would lead one to infer that these were muslim brothers. Otherwise, they wouldn't be let into the city.

There are Black African Muslims (eg from Nigeria), and that's what they seem to be talking about. I assume they're talking about [Black] sub-Saharan Africans, rather than [Arab] North Africans

Let's see, about one out of three in Africa has AIDS. Hopefully they have brought this plague with them to Saudi Arabia.

By comparison, Mecca looks very attractive compared to other places in Africa (aside from the religion). Now the Saudis have an illegal immigration problem, too!!!! Ha, ha, ha, pardon me while I gloat.
In all seriousness, if illegal and legal immigration is not constrained, any society (even a camel-humping one) will have problems: the sheer number of immigrants and the problem of assimilation will work to damage whatever it was that made that society so attractive in the first place.

Reading between the lines seems to imply terrorism and/or extermination.

Interesting that they complain about our own new policies for visas for their citizens entering our country. I assume it's just an editorial in the Arab News- can't really make policy with it, but still it would be an interesting item to bring up in a "profiling yes/no" argument.
