Thanks, but these emails are from XXX sites or marketing types selling stuff. Are they using the KLEZ technique to hide their origin?

Sorry, I should have read your post more carefully.

It amounts to the same thing, spammers were the first to 'spoof' the From field in emails.

The KLEZ virus just mimics what they were doing all along.

Thanks for your responses. Another quick question if you have a second. I am filtering out junk mail and trying to filter on domains that seem to be junk mail producers. I am seeing a lot of domains ending in other than .com or .net. Ones like .dk, .fr, .nl, etc. Are these country codes and if so is there a place to find a complete listing so I can see where this junk is generated?

Thanks in advance.

Your right, they are country codes. You'll find most of your spam coming from Asian, and Eastern Europe.

Here's the list, http://www.iana.org/cctld/cctld-whois.htm

You may have seen ads for people selling the 'TV' site names. Those domain names are a cottage industry for Tuvalu.

This site, http://www.pgh.net/~newcomer/mail_policies.htm , has some worthwhile tricks for blocking spam.
