Perhaps the long delay in identifying the Islamic who went on a murder rampage at the airport was necessary. Mueller had to first notify all his Islamic friends, and give them time to get their "poor persecuted muslim" stories ready.

The perp was on the FBI watch lists... good thing we let him stay here, rather than deal with him appropriately.

At least 7 hours, I'd say. Doug, am I right? I think the Elk Grove thing is probably a coincidence???? It IS far away. Honest.

L.A. Airport Gunman Was Egyptian Native - CNN
July 05, 2002 02:26 AM ET LOS ANGELES (Reuters) - U.S. authorities on Thursday identified the gunman who opened fire at Israeli airline El Al ticket counter at Los Angeles airport as an Egyptian native, CNN reported.
The man, identified by CNN as Hesham Mohamed Hadayet, was overpowered and killed in the shooting. He was identified as a 41-year-old man who has lived in the United States since 1992, CNN reported, citing FBI sources.
FBI agents earlier swooped in on an apartment complex in the southern California city of Irvine, about 50 miles outside Los Angeles, after finding the suspect's car in a parking lot at the airport hours after the shooting.
The report could not be immediately confirmed.

I still dont think this event today had anything to do with al-Qaeda or terrorism. I dont care if the guy was an arab. So what.
Noted.

He knew from what ELAL told him or maybe what FBI told him. Israel could care less about political correctedness or attempting to maintain it on July 4th. So he came out and said what most of us already knew was probably the case anyway Maybe, maybe not. The Israelis would expect terrorism when ever anything happens to them. For them its all personal. If you call this terrorism, then lets call off this war. Klebold and Harris were much more effective and scary than this so called Arab. For a terrorist attack, this is a joke. Send one arab armed with a 45 and 9mm to attack El Al. Yeah. Reminds me more of that teenage kid in Florida who stole the plane and flew it into the insurance building. A lunatic not a conniving terrorist.

Oh great, and how many potential "sleepers" would we have to deal with from that "Peaceful" community?

Here we go... What did Bush know?
Well, he should have known that Islam isn't "peace."
In fact, I'm rather certain he does. Game's up, gloves off.
To: Sabertooth
"The perp was on the FBI watch list"Are you serious? If so, that means he had ties to terrorist and the FBI will be on the hot seat again and deservingly so

Cavuto was **not** jumping all over the guy.
The guys said he wasn't sure WHAT nationality the shooter was, only that he WASN'T white, and could have been Hispanic or from the Middle East.
Cavuto was basically cautioning people not to jump to any conclusions before official word, which was good advice.
Earlier, CNN put on some idiot on the phone who claimed to be there, who said the shooter was a fat middle-aged white guy with a pony-tail who kept screaming he had been fired.
Cavuto handled his interview much more professionally.

We win! My husband and I had a personal bet that one of the guy's names was Mohammed.
To: Dave S
All islamics are potential terrorists. It's in the nature of their religion. Like the man said, read the Koran!
To: patriciaruth
I would've gone w/Abdul.....but what do I know? Good call, though.

My husband and I had a personal bet that one of the guy's names was Mohammed.lol -- that was a pretty safe bet.
