"The Ret military officer Cowan? on fox news went on and on about him possibly being a white supremacist."
Well, they went on and on about the OKC federal building bombing being an act of the militia movement. We are now finding out about the ties to the Mideast. It is amazing how no matter things change, they remain the same regardless of who is in office.

Once again Michael Savage is RIGHT. He said yesterday that the govt was being less than honest. He had checked out various other sites including Israel sites and had watched some of the televised press conferences and said the whole thing smelled. My view? They want to contain the damage and if they can find a way not to label it terrorism, they will. It's harder to avoid calling two buildings going down with thousands of people on network terrorism an individual act than labelling a shooting non terrorism (lone gunman) or an airplane that explodes in the air mere engine trouble.

"Do you realize that your post makes absolutely NO sense. What difference does it make whether its determined that this was a terrorist attack on July 4th or 5th? It would take the Pentagon at least a day to pick a target to attack. Sounds like you've got a screw loose. Take a valium and shut the f up."
Things are not going right in your life? You are not getting enough sleep? Are things just turning to doo-doo right in your hands? Are you totally dissatisfied with your life?
Be happy, be safe. Joy, joy, joy.

"Somebody wake Cavuto and have him begin his apologies." Why? Did Cavuto poo-poo the Terrorism link?

Of course they knew, had to wait for the festivites of the 4th to be over before they told us. Scumbags.I told my wife yesterday they wouldn't announce the guy was an Arab until the 4th was over.
To: Meem the Scream
It just occurred to me that maybe the reason the authorities didn't disclose the perp was Arab until after the celebrations is because they were afraid of retribution among the Fourth of July crowds
looking around for Arab-looking people to beat up on. They're trying to forestall the inevitable backlash that will happen because our gooberment will not take the steps necessary to protect us. Turnabout is fair play. Eff'em

I wonder how many other ME men have sent their families home for the summer? Maybe we should find out. Worst-case scenario: 4 July is just the kick-off date. They won't have to do much actual damage in order to further decimate the arline industry and depress the stock market.
To: Sabertooth
Saber, I agree with your basic point that we need to get control of immigration (no stop it, but control it). However, if the FBI booted everyone on its "watch list," half the FREEPERS would be gone, too.

This wouldn't surprise me at all. And if they start this type of "unibomber" crap, it will backfire in ways they haven't dreamed. It would be the one thing, I think, that would unite Americans behind sealing up the borders.

The problem with your, and other anti-Muslim, posts, is that it presumes something you would NEVER presume with Christians, which is that these people all BELIEVE this stuff. Americanized and Europeanized Muslims---certainly not all of them---have as little connection to "true Islam" as the 87% of Americans who claim to be Christian do to the basic tenets of Christianity.
Don't get on a high horse: I'm not saying they are not dangerous because they are "moral" or "peace loving," I'm saying that we overstate the danger because many of them are "Muslim" only in name and have no idea what's really in their holy books.

Only about 5-10% of muslims are actively involved in Jihad organizationsYou forgot to add " and 80 to 90 % give tacit support to the Jihad organizations by NOT REPORTING terrorist operations and/or personnel".

"Read the Koran"? Interesting that this is the sort of thing done by somebody who tells us that.

New York Times felt it was more important to give our war plans to Iraq than to report the terrorist attack at LAX. Wonder if God will allow them to hit NYC again....
Ah yes, would serve those damn NYers right eh?

I've neither been to Elk Grove nor know where it is so I'm the wrong guy to ask about 7 hours. :)
To: Sabertooth
Do we know yet what the perp had done to get put on the FBI watch lists?

EVERYONE READ MY LIPS: Security begins at the perimeter.
A gun or backpack bomb should never get in the front door of a terminal.
