2) Richard Reid was described as "Middle Eastern" by LAW ENFORCEMENT in the first press conference after his arrest; turns out he doesn't have a drop of Arab or Middle Eastern blood in his body.

Good points. I guess we've gotten to the point where all attacks of any kind are surely terrorists at work. What I want to know is what stopped all of the truly random, idiotic acts of violence that used to be perpetrated by dark-haired individuals prior to 9-11? Since every single incident is now presumed to be terrorist-related, we can assume that all of the nutcases who used to do these things for no good reason are healed, mentally healthy, and no longer menacing. Quite an accomplishment.

The terrorists are truly winning if we credit them behind every act perpetrated by the same dingbats we've had doing such things for years. Let our investigators be objective and thorough and let's find out what happened, but to label every act terrorism is foolish without more facts. Sorry for the soapbox.
