In any case, if this IS terrorism, it's just more terrorism against Israel IMHO rather than against America; the shooter just happened to live in the US and was too broke or lazy to go to Israel himself, so he just went for the most convenient target.

Yes, it's significant. It's significant in that its effect on the American public will be minimal. Unless some true link comes out, my guess is this will have about as much effect on Americans' fears about terrorism as that plane crash in NYC was last November. Everybody was a little suspicious for about a day, and then forgot about it.
