Read volume II of my book series. In that tale, I show exactly how what you mention could and should work in the midst of abject terror. Volume II just going to final edit and then distribution.

Looks like fatalities on the ground, covered, along with the critical injured ........ Damn, hope this is an accident. I am confident that it is, due to the proximity of the airport. Could be wrong.....

Local TV station has chopper over plane crash in San Dimas. Light plane down into parking lot on edge of Puddingstone Reservior, at Bonelli Park. Seems not to be a Raging Waters amusement park, not was there an apparent explosion. Looks like pilot may have tried water landing. Brackett Field about three miles away.

I guess that some airlines and airports are worse than 2 years ago. SFO/LAX and particuliarly US were nightmares two years ago.
My wife flew from Sac to MidWay in late Feb. this year on SW. Apparently SW has done a lot of security stuff with their computers re tickets, people buying the tickets, luggage matching and other things that some other big airlines haven't done. That makes it faster to get on board, yet if there is a problem they will move fast and on that individual and suspected luggage. She had zero problems and the planes took off on time. One had a problem landing at Midway due to snow.
We found out that even UA out and to Sacramento if the flight didn't originate in SFO or LAX was usually on time and had pleasant cabin crews.
Sounds like a nightmare at ANC.

Concern is there is another shooter still there.

From Drudge:
SMALL PLANE CRASHES INTO 4TH OF JULY PICNIC CROWD IN SAN DIMAS, CA... nothing further

They will say that there is no evidence of terrorism.Tell that to the thousands of terrified passengers who are standing around like cattle wondering what's going on and missing their flights.
To: All
From what I've seen on the news, this event is being way overblown by the authorities- paranoia abounds. If someone had been killed on the freeway. They'd be letting traffic go around after the people were taken away. This is going to muck up air traffic from LAX for days.
