Actor Martin Sheen (L) and Janet Reno talk to the media during a campaign stop in Deerfield Beach, Florida, June 8, 2002. Sheen, who plays the U.S. President Josiah Bartlet on the teleivision drama "The West Wing" is stumping for the former U.S. Attorney General during a four-day campaign and fund-raising tour around Florida. Reno is favored to be the Democratic gubernatorial candidate in September. If she wins she will go up against U.S. President George W. Bush's brother, Republican incumbant Jeb Bush in a November election. REUTERS/Colin Braley

She refuses to recognize that the numbers"...
The only numbers The Flame should recognize are the ones emblazoned over her chest in her mugshot.
Clinton's "Stay Out Of Jail Card" .......so compromised that she was perfect for the job!!! >

Just wait till she takes that show on the road.. in her red pickup truck. I can just see the excitement across Florida. Watch out Jeb!

"And unfortunately we also have a candidate who cannot see that. She refuses to recognize that the numbers don't work for her."Reno, another Clinton legacy. Since Clinton never lived in "reality", always excusing away the truth, is it any surprise that he left behind a legacy of others who act the same.
Personally, I love watching the Dems stew over the issue of Janet who will not heed their warnings and play by their rule book.

Must be the same 43% who waited 8 years for ScumBubba to find his "moral center".

There probably isn't enough gel in the state of Florida to get her off the ground or anywhere else.

LOL! Not even President Josiah Bartlet can resuscitate her dying candidacy... ;-)

"The problem is we have a candidate who is not going to lose the primary and will not win the general election"
In other words: the ideal Democrat candidate.
"And unfortunately we also have a candidate who cannot see that. She refuses to recognize that the numbers don't work for her."
In other words: a typical Democrat--selfish, self-serving, and out of touch with reality.
Keep it up, Janet! You're right where you ought to be.(Well, not exactly. There's still the penetentiary.)
To: Savage Beast
I still say the reason she is running is to forestall prevent any legal action against her, since the charge would be that it is politically motivated.
Also, I think they thought they could run vote fraud again, and it looks like they have been forestalled on that front as well.

The warthog-like, waterbuffaloish, lesbian-leftist, disgrace to America taking to the byways of Florida to get her message out to the people.
Accompanying the murderous bitch on her evil odyssey is a gaggle of imbecilic pinheads, like Martin Sheen. He is as effectual as Rozie O'Donnel, Donna Shalalalala. Better get the ex co-presidents, Beelzebubba and Hitlery to cinch her place in the comic section!
Her rightful place would be on death row with the co-perps awaiting the kind hearted hangman.

Other than die-hard liberals, I see no support for Reno among the Democrats. The party sure doesn't fully support her. Neither Butch Reno or Bill McLawyer stand a chance. Pete Peterson was the 'rats best hope and he wisely decided that 2002 was not the year to run for Governor.

The warthog-like, waterbuffaloish, lesbian-leftist, disgrace to America taking to the byways of Florida to get her message out to the people. Hmmm. Exactly where did Janet come from? Is it merely coincidence that the water level of the Everglades declined at about the same time she emerged?

Janet is the DEM version of "Bob Dole" and they're stuck with her; just like the 'pubbies were stuck with Dole. They know she can't win...just as we knew he couldn't win, especially against Clinton. But the party had to let him try...'cause it was his turn. Political payment for lifetime service. It's just....her turn.
McBride is the guy to watch. He's progun, prolife and he's a vet. That will play well with the pivotal panhandle vote...conservative democrats. Next time (2006) it'll be McBrides turn and Jeb will be term limited out. That will turn the tables. The problem is (and few will notice it) that since Mcbride is a political neophyte, he will be under the strict thumb of the party and they are ANTI-gun and Anti-life (abortionists) and he's already made the admission that he'll raise taxes....
I don't think Brogan will be up for the head job, and I don't think he'll be the same caliber gov as Jeb. I personally like Charlie Crist, the current Secretary of Education, but he's running for Butterworth's job of State Attorney General. But he has baggage, too.
Jeb has to start grooming his successor NOW. Making him very highly visibile, very well known in a positive light, statewide. If this is Brogan, Jeb has to let him handle some high level jobs on his own...to establish a better track record. He has to step out of the shadows. Because the 2006 election will begin the moment the Governor is sworn in for the 2002 election.

You have hit upon an amazing, but overlooked, factoid. This quaking, quivering mountain of wrinkling elephant-type flesh emerged from the dank dark Everglades.
She truly could be......The swamp thing.

Sheen, who plays the U.S. President Josiah Bartlet on the teleivision drama Is there an analagous phrase to "Those who can't do, teach?" for the likes envious, loser actors like Marty?
Those who can't be, act.
