The New York City Board of Elections is probing charges that hundreds of New Yorkers illegally double-voted in the city and Florida in the 2000 presidential race - and is vowing to prosecute, The Post has learned.

The bipartisan board voted unanimously to act after The Post reported that an ongoing Republican National Committee study found that hundreds of New Yorkers were recorded as illegal double-dippers. The number has now risen to at least 402.

Me too. Our system of safegaurding the sanctity of the "one vote per citizen" is a joke. Voting fraud is the most rampant, unprosecuted crime in the country.

I agree, the Dems seem to have no rules but to get power at any cost! I'm still waiting for the RNC to check out how
many double dippers voted in Manhattan and Connecticut.
In my former town, Weston, I read that there were some address which were represented by as many as 14 voters. This is a town in which multi-family homes are forbidden!
Only answer I can see to this is double dipping by using
someone else's address. Their rule is 'do it if you don't
get caught!' SO GET THEM. It's about time.

This is a bit off topic but I was listening to Batchelor and Alexander on WABC radio NYC last night. They had a guest who said that he would not be surprised if Bush won NY state in the 04 election. (By the way, he is a Democrate.)

There is truth to the rumors that Jewish voters are switching parties.

Be kinda fun if they would publish names of these double-dippers...402 is quite a large number considering the number of vote difference in Fla for Bush to win the election!

Hearing this from callers to other talk shows...Hanity and Hugh Hewitt. The fact that Cuomo can't get out of the gate gives hope!

Great post. Stamping out voter fraud is very important right now. Pres. Carter's book Turning Point was a great read on this subject. His first election, lost, was over turned because of vote fraud. They then passed a law that you could no longer vote if you had been dead more than 3 years.

I could not envision the New York Times doing such an informative and balanced piece. So I looked at the link. Of course, it was not the New York Times. It was the New York Post.

Darn! I thought that maybe the NYT had come to its senses and done some accurate reporting.

BLASPHEMER!

That will never occur.

Nearly every RAT is a felon of one form or another; murderer, rapist, child molester, robber, burglar, doper, welfare cheat, illegal alien with terrorist connections, etc., etc.

Uh, I think maybe you're a little over the top on this one, LibWhacker. I don't like them either, but I don't think most of them are felons. Most are just deluded morons.

Under New York law, double-voting is a felony punishable by up to a year or more in jail.

Whether they see jail time (they need to, laws that are all bark and no bite encourage scofflaws) they should be convicted of felonies:

Felons can't vote!

You could be right about that, sir. Guess I lived in San Francisco and Bezerkeley too long, where every RAT actually is a felon.

I used to be a democrat, too -- until I got tired associating with, and voting for, felons, all the other decent democrats in my family, and in my close circle of friends, having died of shame. ;-)

Nationwide, if every RAT is a felon, then Gore's true popular vote may have been somewhere close to 50% of that reported in the press. But this is unlikely to be the case, as you've pointed out. So I suppose, upon reflection, it was actually somewhere up around 80% of that reported. Still a Bush landslide. :-)

Yeah. And if we want to beat them we are going to have to play by their rules.

Great news, let the investigations of the double voting snow birds go.

There needs to be a similiar investigation of Rat students in college voting at college and at home by absentee ballot.

I was not aware of this until recently. Apparently this is a long time DNC double dipping scam.

Not sure how far I'd want to stoop to their level. I see too much downside in becoming their clones, protoges in terms of matching them absolute tit for tat in a street fighting utterly dirty, no holds barred sort of way.

But certainly being decisive, ruthlessly impactful and terminating in our actions--i.e. deadly, folks--seems a minimum to start with.

And, I could even imagine dealing with the families of such to an extent. . . how and when and in what contexts would be tricky. I'd hate to breed more siblings with greater hatred. I guess wiping out the whole family would take care of the sibling problem, but not their friends. Bulldozing the houses down has a nice touch to it in a manner of speaking. At least it matches destruction with destruction.

My mind was clearly on another issue. . .

Play by BILLDO AND SHRILLERY'S RULES? Dear me. God forbid. Becoming them to beat them is a no win situation.

However, it shouldn't be too challenging to outfox them. . . to hold a vivid mirror up to them and to the country that adores them.

Philadelphia had over 100 people vote from the same vacant lot. They do nothing.

Philly's mayor is a Democrat. NYC's mayor is a Republican. That might make a difference
