The funny thing here is that not only does the Union pay the $800k, but that the members of the union will have to cough up the $800k via their monthly deductions. They can say adios to that money, which will have no value. I think the NEA better come up with some good explainations as to how it deserved a $800k fine.

Does the term "Freedom" ring a bell?

NOOOOO...Evergreen has nothing to do with the EPA - (Washington, the State - where it is, is the "Evergreen" state....)it's run by a former State Rep (I think) who knows his way around budgets and is VERY GOOD at what he does - supporting FREEDOM......they have a web page, I think it is eff.org (Evergreen Freedom Foundation)

That's pretty funny. The money they are being fined and have to pay was never their money.
It came from the sweat of our collective brow.

The word "freedom" lends more meaning to their name than the word "evergreen," which simply means they are from a part of the country with a lot of pine trees. Have you visited their website yet?

That *does* look a lot like the teacher I had for my 8 o'clock class! I guess she was union....
