Study Finds Cuddle Time With Baby Beneficial for Mom and Child
Email story to a friend
Baby-soft skin not only feels good, it's good for you.
A new study is one of the first on the long-term impact of what's known as "kangaroo care." that's when parents cuddle up to their preemies for periods of time each day.
Kangaroo care is beneficial for both. Infants become more socially alert and develop faster and moms tend to have less post pardem depression.
TOPICS: Miscellaneous
KEYWORDS:
I want paid to do a study as to whether or not daytime is different then nighttime.

you know, this reminds me of how sometimes when my wife and I are watching the local news, they will do a top story about the "dangers of cigarette smoke" or "the dangers of obesity". We always look at each other like we were transported back in time to when this was actually news.
Next thing you know, they will tell us that fireworks can be dangerous if you're not careful /sarcasm

Our local news has so much fluff now I do not even watch it, which is why I set up
my website which lists newspapers and tv stations all over the US (I will be re-working the site soon and putting more info, like affiliate, ratings, etc).
Most the stories I post here, 95% or better, are not from Ohio where I live. So sad that news has become redundant and dull. Takes me awhile each day to find stories worth posting, have to sort through a ton of junk just to get something.

Cuddling children is good for you. (W.C. Fields voice) - "especially female children. Female children between the ages of 18 and 25..."

Congress should immediately cut by half, all tax rates, across the board, and lobby state governments to do the same.
That ought to free half of the working population to go and cuddle with their kids, while still maintaining their current lifestyle. (Except government employees, of course, they don't have kids, they spawn. :)

This study violates the CEDAW treaty, because it promotes sterotyped gender roles.
