Emil Zola wrote an article called I Accuse to protest the unjust conviction and imprisonment of Capt Alfred Dreyfus on Devil's Island. It worked, Dreyfus was not only exonerated but returned to France a hero. I've decided to borrow the idea, tweak it a bit and use it to express without apology my thoughts, opinions and feelings about current events.Its a little something I've called I REFUSE. I invite my fellow Freepers to join in with their own refusisms.
I refuse to believe religion should be kept private.
I refuse to respect people who push their religion into the face of others.
I refuse to accept the opinion of so-called experts when it goes against common sense.
I refuse to accept unexamined declarations such as the flatness of the earth.
I refuse to censor myself simply because some Godless Leftist may be offended.
I refuse to take seriously someone who has suspended their rationality.
I refuse to see any more Tom Cruise movies.
Me, too.
I refuse to let anyone teach my children that men shtupping each other is normal
I refuse to believe religion should be kept private.

Me, too. Like a teacher who would tell a mentally challenged 14 year old that Jesus wasn't a real person.

I refuse to take seriously anyone who thinks a woman should have the right to choose to kill their unborn child, but is not responsible enough to choose how to educate her child.
I refuse to see any more Tom Cruise movies.

Man, I haven't had a gizzard in many years. My mother
used to make sure I always got the gizzard when she
fried chicken. Chewy city.
Ambrosia. I refuse to think otherwise!

I re-fuse fireworks when they fail to go off.
I refuse socialist/communist policies disguised as 'progress/progressivism'.
I refuse attempts by the commucrats to divide me from other Americans by race (tribalism).
I refuse to become a ward of the nanny state.
I refuse any attempts to remove my personal responsibility for myself and my actions.
And above all, I refuse to surrender my right to keep and bear arms. I refuse to surrender my weapons to any government, whether acting illegally or under 'color of law', or even under real, legitimate law.
FROM MY COLD DEAD HANDS YOU WILL TAKE MY HOT, EMPTY, GUN.
