(CNSNews.com) - A conservative group is running radio ads in South Dakota this week, urging Senate Majority Leader Tom Daschle (D-S.D.) to stop blocking consideration and confirmation of President Bush's judicial nominees

Concerned Women for America says last week's ruling "absurd ruling" that the words 'under God' in the nation's Pledge of Allegiance are unconstitutional proves the nation's desperate need for judge who respect the law."

In a statement, Concerned Women for America says President Bush has nominated men who will respectfully interpret - not make -laws.

"Last week's ruling clearly demonstrates the need for good men and women on the federal bench," said CWA President Sandy Rios. "It's time for Mr. Daschle to stop blocking these good people so we don't see any more attacks on American values from activist judge."

In the ad, Rios says, "If activist judges have their way, God will no longer be acknowledged - even in the Pledge of Allegiance."

CWA is urging South Dakotans to "call Senator Daschle today, and tell him to stop blocking honorable judicial nominees."

Good news - hope the fine folks in SD listen and place the call. Here's a good site if anyone wants to email or fax their comments to Daschle: http://capwiz.com/acu/bio/?id= 535&submit.x=7&submit. y=11

CWA has more than 500,000 members and is the Republican response to NOW. They are becoming a real force.

It would be a waste of time to call his office. He is not going to listen to anything reasonable.

They don't care if anyone calls the office or not. The ads make Daschle look bad and reduce his ability to affect the outcome of the other senate race in his home state. The Republicans are really after that seat, because Daschle is not up for re-election this year.

It's time for Mr. Daschle to stop blocking . . . good people

And it's past time for South Dakota to vote Daschle out. Call to arms against Daschle bump.
