(CNSNews.com) - A conservative group is running radio ads in South Dakota this week, urging Senate Majority Leader Tom Daschle (D-S.D.) to stop blocking consideration and confirmation of President Bush's judicial nomineesConcerned Women for America says last week's ruling "absurd ruling" that the words 'under God' in the nation's Pledge of Allegiance are unconstitutional proves the nation's desperate need for judge who respect the law."
In a statement, Concerned Women for America says President Bush has nominated men who will respectfully interpret - not make -laws.
"Last week's ruling clearly demonstrates the need for good men and women on the federal bench," said CWA President Sandy Rios. "It's time for Mr. Daschle to stop blocking these good people so we don't see any more attacks on American values from activist judge."
In the ad, Rios says, "If activist judges have their way, God will no longer be acknowledged - even in the Pledge of Allegiance."
CWA is urging South Dakotans to "call Senator Daschle today, and tell him to stop blocking honorable judicial nominees."
