It's funny that this bill passed 99-0 (with Jesse Helms absent), with all the historical references in section 1 to God. It is now in the House Committee on the Judiciary.

Gee, when are the resolutions about Mom, Apple Pie and Chevrolet going to come to the floor?

This is a criminal waste of time.

What does it take to stop all of this nonsense? An Act of Congress?

I still recite the PofA to Chevrolet every time I enter my garage....(I end up reciting the Curse of Chevrolet when I leave though)

Good start but, I dont understand why the pubbies havent beaten Leahy,Dasshole and the rest of the RATS over the head with the judicial hold ups in the Senate. They have lost the momentum and will not be able to regain it, in my opinion.

This is a criminal waste of time.

Initially, those were my exact thoughts. However, after further review, I've decided this is possibly the best thing the Senate could be doing, aside from sitting on their hands or going on extended recess.

They could always be dreaming up a new hate-crime bill...perhaps I shouldn't be giving them ideas.
