Brief reprieve for Bosnia mission

BRUSSELS, Belgium --A threat to the future of the U.N. peacekeeping mission in Bosnia has been temporarily lifted to allow talks to try to resolve a dispute over the jurisdiction of the new International Criminal Court.

The United States is demanding immunity from prosecution by the global war crimes court, which comes into force on Monday, for its personnel involved in peacekeeping missions in Bosnia and elsewhere.
