President Bush arrived back at the White House this afternoon after a weekend at Camp David. The President made some brief remarks to reporters regarding his colonoscopy yesterday. Because the procedure showed no signs of polyp reoccurrence, the President will not need another colonscopy for five years. The procedure hasn't interrupted his workout routine as Bush ran three miles today and took a walk in the woods with wife, Laura. The President has a busy schedule this week before heading to Ripley, WV on the 4th. Enjoy your daily dose of Dubya!
President's Holiday Week Schedule:
Monday: Cleveland, OH- regarding domestic agenda, including the vouchers decision.
Tuesday: Milwaukee, WI- regarding religious groups in the adminstration of welfare programs
Wednesday: Washington- to celebrate the 200th anniversary of the Lewis and Clark expedition
Fourth of July: Ripley, W.Va.- July Fourth celebration where veterans will be honored

You guys from the east coast are indeed night owls! I am in awe of anybody who can stay up that late! **yawn** I am on the left coast and can hardly keep my eyes open.

Of course, I am! Did you ever get the movies I sent you? How are you doing?
Anyway, I was getting all psyched about seeing the Who this summer, and then their bassist died the other day. :-( Very tragic. They're still going on with the tour, but it's gonna be so sad.
I think President Bush used one of their songs for a little bit during the campaign - "Won't Get Fooled Again."

Actually, I think Tony was laughing at his own comment that he thought the President was probably happy that they were taking pictures of his
face today! LOL!
I found the comment rather humerous myself! (Though it was kinda cute when the President couldn't say 'Colonoscopy' and changed it to 'procedure!'

** I was iffy on having my mammogram done when I turn 36 next year, but I'm definitely going to do it now. **
I had a lumpectomy about 9 years ago. Benign, thank God. I have mammograms every year...a very necessary procedure.

Strep is quite different than having the colon check, Guido. You *need* your rest right now....2miles of walking can happen later. Take care. Strep is nasty.
