New(er) RadioFR Chat Server is UP tonight! 020630
I've replaced the original chat server and altered the client (the chat window that you see) and I'd like to test it. The new chat window is easier to use and has a couple of new features. It should work on any computer that will do Microsoft Internet Explorer, and Netscape (it's a little slower on Netscape but it does work.) It will also accommodate mIRC, pIRCh, etc., go to the link below for address & port.
Be advised that there isn't any identification link between FR names and this system. So far there are a limited number of FR names registered on this system - that means the FR name you see on the chat server MAY BE AN IMPOSTER! If you'd like a registered nick on the chat server, send me a freepmail with the nick & password that is at least 5 characters long that you would like to use - DO NOT send me the password that you use here, pick a different one!

Couldn't get the Function button to work. I even lowered my fire wall security level to no avail.

Actually I'm on an HP Jornada PDA running the Pocket PC operating system and IrcCE chat software...it's connected to all the usual chat servers without a problem...

hmmmmmmmm the server is an industry compliant server. The only thing that I can think of is that your pda doesn't like the port the server is operating on since that isn't a standard port, or that maybe there's some type of firewall involved that I don't know about that doesn't have the non-standard port open. Other than that, ya got me.....
