This is the same area where I was subjected to a fascist "Checkpoint Charlie", illegal checkpoint last November.
By the time I rolled up to the police officer, they had already run my plate - and joked that since they had already "got me" in Virginia (I got a ticket for speeding on the way down) they decided to let me go.

I'm convinced that there are enough speeding, running red lights, driving with open containers, wreckless tailgaiting and such that police could raise plenty of money in almost any city. The seatbelt is just an easier thing to do. And in Texas motorcyclists dont have to wear a helmet except on freeways. Go figure.

strangely enough I got 50 dollars for my first seatbelt offense, and 22 for my second. Go figure. Did I get a "bad driver" discount? LOL
