A former Wall Street broker accused of laundering $15 million in cocaine money for a corrupt Mexican governor-turned-druglord claimed yesterday she thought he was just a regular "high-net-worth client."

Wearing an elegant royal blue dress and a gold necklace, Consuelo Marquez, 39, pleaded not guilty to charges of money laundering, bank fraud and wire fraud allegedly committed while working for Lehman Brothers in Manhattan.

Morvillo (her lawyer) argued that Marquez would not be able to meet her financial obligations if forced to secure the bond - even though she has $1 million equity in her apartment, $40,000 in securities, $25,000 in savings and a $100,000 retirement fund.
