Didn't America already have NATO AWACS aircraft patrolling over it's territory? -(Something that would have violated the Posse Commitatus Act were it U.S. AWACS aircraft.)
The precedent has already been set, and nobody noticed. They were too busy putting American flag stickers on their vehicles.

So NATO can now take a lead in fighting terrorism. Really? Then why doesn't it use its troops in Bosnia and Kosovo to kill all of bin Laden's terrorist friends that operate from there.
