Rushing to the defense of the Creator

Jewish Law prohibits the writing of the Creator's name out in full. The spelling below is not intended to be disrespectful, particulary given this column's topic --- editor.

On Wednesday, America was overcome with these little vortexes - whatever you call them. A court in California ruled that the Pledge of Allegiance was unconstitutional because it uses the phrase "under G-d," and every politician in the country was in such a hurry to be a character witness to G-d's constitutionality that it was like we became a nation of Speedy Gonzalezes.

The only thing I might have an issue with is that Michael Dukakis might not be the worst candidate in history. I actually think the Walter Mondale was a stinker as well and could give Dukakis a run for your money.
