H, MY ... God! Since no politician can afford to be seen as godless, no matter how completely they lean on the everlasting arms of lobbyists, they rushed to fax machines to be the first to cast stones at the ruling Wednesday by the 9th Circuit Court of Appeals. A three-judge panel held that the phrase ''one nation under God'' makes the Pledge of Allegiance unconstitutional.

Somehow, you just knew Derrick would work this in to the story.
LOL! Of course no country can claim to be "under God" until some socialist legislation is adopted and candidates attend homosexual fund raisers. Makes perfect theological sense to me!
Sorry to have to correct you...LOL!
A blatant lie. Newdow himself simply says that his daughter should have been protected from HEARING this. No one forced the kid to say the pledge.
As these people lie as a matter of course, though, how can you trust ANYTHING they have to say?
This could be the title of the show they replace Alan Keyes with on MSNBC.
I for one hope that this will be the last straw for all religious and God-fearing people. We have been denigrated as the Religiouss Right for too long. Our opinions are dismissed because we are trying to "foist our religion" on the Godless Left. (This will be my new term for anyone who is anti-religion and pro immorality).
Let's list some anti religion issues. First, prayer in schools. This not only includes teacher led prayer but goes all the way to posting God Bless America. No Christmas carols, no Santa Claus, No God invoking at graduation, winter break instead of Christmas vacation. Next is homosexuality. If you believe this is wrong on religious grounds, you're a bigot and not worthy of opinion. We go on to premarital sex. Who cares what your religion teaches your kids. Kids are going to do it anyway, so give them a caondom or a pill. If they get pregnant, abortion is the choice. Anti-choicers have no moral grounds, according to the Godless Left, to force women to do anything with their bodies.
The attitude that religion must be private permeates our culture. Go to a store in December and see if any employee says Merry Christmas. we even have some Mayor threatening people over this harmless phrase. another town coucil kills Santa Claus. No manger scenes on public property even witht the required elves, reindeer and Menorah.
Check your children's history books. Pilgrims were people who travel a lot. Thanks were given to the Indians that first November feast. Heather has two Mommies, but better not mention that you're Bible says it's wrong. In fact don't even bring that book to school. Never let any child see or hear about Jesus or the Ten Commandments. Don't ever say anything is right or wrong. It might fracture his pshyche.
Now is the time to stand up for God. Do not let the "offended" force everyone else to hide the light under a bushel basket. Just call them the Godless Left and keep saying it until it sticks.
