Well, that makes sense.
To: newsperson999
Just heard that too.
What the hell? Maybe some sense overtook this judge.

Which judge? If it was the 79 year-old, maybe he can say he was having a senior moment and wants a do-over.
To: newsperson999
Coward. He doesn't have the guts to enforce his own ruling.

No, I would imagine that some powerful Washington Democrats called him and told him to do it. They know how much this ruling will damage their cause....

It means that any enforcement would only occur after the Supreme Court hears the appeal, and agrees with the ruling of the Ninth Circuit.

Hi "newsperson999"!
Me either; have to go read up on this. Would you please go to Post #33 on the "How is the 'under God' unconstitutional?" Thread, and vote in the poll linked to CourtTV?
Thank you!

or he heard the wrath of the people? I grew up saying the pledge and believe in it. How assinine and anal can they become over "one little sentence"?
To: The Vast Right Wing
The same 3 judges. One day later.
ROTFLMAO!
Napolitano on Fox: this makes thier ruling very easy to overrule.
To: oldvike
That still makes him a coward.

It probably means the he has stayed the order pending an application for a review en banc by the entire 9th Circuit.
Not unusual at all.

Judge Napolitono on Fox News says this freezes the ruling to give everyone time to read the ruling and understand it, or something like that.
To: newsperson999
Mulligan maybe? Perhaps he should be forced to play "dicks out" from the Ladies tee.
To: newsperson999
Do know which Judge, There were 3 of them?
