Some immigration reform advocates insisted yesterday that the primary mission of the Border Patrol is not to provide humanitarian assistance to illegal aliens but to police the U.S.-Mexico border

"There are 17 water stations placed out there by well-meaning individuals and humanitarian organizations," Mr. Aguilar said" Hell, why not just charter a few nice buses and serve cold drinks? /sarcasm

Wet them down, send them back.

Cool !!
How 'bout adding several hundred land-mines around those '17 Watering Stations' ?? ??
That should slow 'em up a little bit . . .
But, then again, if out "Border Guards" were actually doing their jobs, instead of acting like barkers in front of strip club, most of this might not have ever come to pass in the first place..

Feed 'em and fan 'em. Show 'em how compassionate we really are.

This guy must be taking bribes from the Mexican government and drug lords. The responsibility to protect these Mexican risk takers belongs to the Mexican government! ALL federal employees have the responsibility to defend the borders of the US. Thsi is another US employee who beats his chest and takes blame for something that is none of his business. He mourns the dead Mexicans because that is much easier than trying to explain why he won''t do his job. For every dead Mexican, there are hundreds who makeit, each one proving this guy and his organization to be incompetent.
Are we going to wait until a Mexican driver and Arab terrorists drive a truck load of small pox across theis area, someing a a blue flag for a refreshing drink? What is wrong with this guy. Seal the borders. Stop the invasion of our country BEFORE the suicide bombers come north!

A sworn US Customs agent speaking to a LULAC convention on any topic other than why they should quit undermining their adopted country should be sufficient conflict of interest to lose him his job.

"The temperature there today is 140 degrees. It is impossible to survive."WOW that blows away the previous US record high temp of 134 degrees F at Death Valley, CA in July of 1913 and even breaks the world record of 136 F at Al' Aziziyah, Libya in September of 1922. Looks like maybe they were right about global warming.

If he will lie about the statistics on the temperature, how can anyone trust all the other statistics he throws out?

The chief U.S. Border Patrol agent said yesterday that the government has a responsibility to protect Mexican citizens who are illegally crossing into the United States. Seems to me our responsibility should be to send them back to where they belong as quickly as posible.

If I lived down there, I'd go for a little drive on the weekend and put a few holes in all of those water tanks. I also think the border would be much improved by a few landmines. If you think that's inhumane, I'll remind you that you won't like living in a country that's getting filled up with people who don't respect American laws, American history, or our way of life.

This looks like an attempt at PR and making nice with the hispanic community because the commies at LULAC keep filing lawsuits against our government and its agencies on behalf of charbroiled hispanic family members.
Like the environ-commies and PETA commies, their aim is to bankrupt the agencies into using all their funds to defend against this crap.
Communism as a world power collapsed, but commie activist lawyers can still sue us into submission. As with the removal of all references to God and religion..it'll probably work.
