Pray for Bush Day 648 & the End of Abortion

Dear Heavenly Father,

I thank You for this day and for the many blessings You have given me. I thank You for Your grace and mercy in times of need and discouragement and for Your constant abiding presence at all times. I thank You for Your Word in which we find all of the information about You that You revealed to so many writers over so many years. Your faithfulness astounds us, Lord, and we just thank You for being who You are.

Father, I lift up to You President Bush and ask that You would guard him and guide him throughout the rest of today and into tomorrow. Help him to see things Your way and to do things exactly as You would have him to do them. Give him wisdom and strength to withstand the many pressures that he faces as President, and help him to be a moral example pointing others to Christ.

I lift up the unborn, Lord. Show this nation that it is murder to kill an unborn child. Show ALL of the nations, this evil, and change hearts regarding the situation. Father, help President Bush to remain true to his promise to pass the legislation that will ban partial birth abortion. Help it to get out of both the House and the Senate for him to sign, and let all appeals go in favor of life.

Go with us the rest of this day Lord and until we see You again. Help us Lord, You are our hope. For it is in the precious name of Christ Jesus my Lord and Savior that I pray these things- Amen.

Psalm 36
¹ The transgression of the wicked saith within my heart, that there is no fear of God before his eyes.

Thank you Lord for you fail not. Your goodness is all over this earth for all to see. Father I lift up our President to you and pray that you would give to him great wisdom and understanding. May he seek Your counsel and be the leader this nation needs him to be. Lord I pray for our nation that you would have mercy upon us and send to us revival, may we once again recognize you as the one true God and serve you fervently. Lord I also pray for the lives of the little babies, reveal to us the lies that we have choose to believe. May this world regard babies as precious as you do. I pray this in Jesus name, Amen.

Mighty God, Everlasting Father,

Thank You for calling us to be children of the Living God. How great is Your love, O Father, that You have lavished on us, that we should be called Your children---and we are! Therefore, the world does not know us, because it did not know you.

Lord, we praise You for the strength and wisdom that You continue to provide for President Bush. We know that You hear the prayers of Your children on his behalf, and we thank You for the mighty ways You respond. Help President Bush always to preserve his time with You, Lord, no matter how busy his schedule becomes. Let his very life be a prayer to You, Father, that he may seek to do Your will and please You in all ways. We know that Your angels surround him, Lord, for You have promised this in Your Word, and we remember it as we pray for his safety each day. Guide the First Lady in her efforts to make the White House operate smoothly. Let this house be a home to them, but let it also be one which Americans can view with pride and gratitude.

We pray for wisdom for President Bush and a commitment to end abortion in this nation. Father, the enemy wants us to believe that most Americans want legal abortion to continue, but in truth, the nation wants no such thing. The majority of the public opposes all of the decisions that have been made regarding abortion and yet our media continues to characterize abortion opponents as being "out of the mainstream." Father, please let the truth be revealed. Abortion laws were never passed through Congress; they were issued by judicial decree. We know that abortion is not Your will, nor is it the will of the majority of Americans. Please help us to refute the lies of the enemy, Lord, that this nation may undergo the legislative changes and moral changes needed to restore a culture of life and to preserve the rights of the unborn.

We ask for more prayer warriors today, Lord. Whether they submit prayers of their own, or pray those that are posted here, please let more and more prayers be lifted up on behalf of President Bush and our nation. Thank You for hearing and responding to each prayer offered in earnest, Lord.

And now may You, O God of peace---who through the blood of the eternal covenant brought back from the dead our Lord Jesus, that great Shepherd of the sheep---equip us in every good thing to do Your will. And may You work in us what is pleasing in Your sight, through Jesus Christ. Amen.

Heavenly Father, I praise You for Your loving-kindness and great mercy. You have heard our cries again and again and You have lovingly answered. You have poured out Your love on us and we love and adore You.

Father, I pray for this nation and our president tonite. We see evil expounded as good and wrong as right. Our freedoms are eroding on every hand. 160 young "gays" went to the prom together. The pledge of allegiance is judged by the federal courts as wrong because it says "under You (GOD)" We are on a precipice we are either going over to utter ruin or revival is coming to save us. Give us eyes to see and hearts to understand where we are. Have mercy on us I pray, in Jesus name, amen.
